Volunteer with Just Compassion
Do you like working directly with the homeless? Are you available between 10 AM and 2 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays? Volunteers have maximum impact during these hours and find it highly rewarding.
Need time to adjust to working with homeless guests? We also need volunteers in the morning before guests arrive, in the afternoon after they leave, and other days and times in support roles. Whatever your preference and availability, our volunteers are appreciated and essential!
Most shifts are two hours or less in duration and you can choose between weekly, every other week, monthly, or on call.
Volunteers need to be 18 years of age or older, and able to provide their own transportation to the Resource Center located at 12280 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard, OR. If you have specific questions you may call the Resource Center at 503-624-4666 and ask for Vernon.
